About Us
HISTORY
The Crafty Älmhult market was founded in April 2014 by Carla, Emmelie and Annelotte. Three Dutch Crafters that moved to Älmhult Sweden in August last year. Before moving to Älmhult they enthusiastically participated at different craftmarkets in the Netherlands, like the Feelgoodmarket ( Eindhoven), The Hip en Handgemaakt markt ( Nijmegen) and the Sunday market ( Amsterdam). In love with Sweden the family decided to move to this beautiful country. Missing the Dutch craftmarkets they decided to start their own craftmarket. In August 2014 the first edition of the Crafty Älmhult market took place in collaboration with Älmhult kommun, Studieförbundet vuxenskolan Älmult ( Jenny Herz) and the organisation of Familjfestivalen, it took place in the Eriksgatan in Älmhult centrum. Participantes from all over Europe joined the market and the market became a big success.

THE CRAFTY ÄLMHULT MARKET FOR VISITORS
Besides art and design we regularly feature great music
(often acoustic) and delicious ecological food and drinks. The Crafty Älmhult markt is an international craft and designmarket. That means that the artist and designers joining our market come from different countries all over Europe. For example: Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, Belgium and Hungary.
THE CRAFTY ÄLMHULT MARKET FOR DESIGNERS
The Crafty Älmhult market offers a platform for international artists and designers to showcase and sell their wonders in a collectively driven environment. We also offer artists the oppurtunity to meet other professional colleagues and share inspiration and experience. For this reason, besides organising the Crafty Almhult market, we organise off side meetings, like the Crafty Älmhult party in August 2014, and invite artists and designers to join our online community.
