Visit Sweden

  • A great place to start is beautiful Mälmo. the capital of SkÃ¥ne,and the third largest city inSweden. The city is part of the expanding Öresund region and is joined to Copenhagen in Denmark by the mighty, arching Öresund bridge.Malmö is a small, friendly city with a good choice of cultural attractions, including the new Moderna Museet Malmö. And the shopping isn’t bad either, especially if you’re looking for Swedish design-ware and hip, new Swedish fashion labels.

  • One of our favorite places in south Sweden is WanÃ¥s. Hidden in the Swedish forrest you will find this, as we say in Dutch, pareltje van een museum! WanÃ¥s Sculpture park is a modern art museum/sculpture park near Knislinge in Skäne. In the park you can find works from Yoko Ono, Ann-Sofi Sidén, Jacob DahlgrenAnne Thulin and many more artists. WanÃ¥s is the place where art, history and nature meet. Definitely worth visiting! I promise!

  • With Childeren or without. You should definitly visit Astrid Lindgrens Värld. SmÃ¥land. All characters of the Astrid Lindgren books come to live in this  amusement park. The park is located in Vimmerby, the birth place of Astrid Lindgren. Besides visiting Astrid Lindgrens Väld you can also visit the birth house of Astrid Lindgren. and many other attractions related to the Astrid Lindgren childerensbooks,

  • Visiting the Crafty Älmhult market? Combine this with a visit to the very first Ikea! Ikea founder Ingvar Kamprad was born in a little village near Älmhult. On the age of 17 he started his very first shop in a barn near Älmhult.

  • Besides Mälmo Lund is a city definitly worth visiting! Lund is a charming city that combines ancient with modern. University students buzz around the medieval streets. Everything is within easy reach - The cathedral, university, museums, cafes, pubs, and most hotels are located within walking distance in the city centre.

  • An finally.... don't forget to visit beautiful Växjo! The city of Växjö is world renowned for its beautiful nature and excellent work in creating a sustainable environment.

Hope to see you in South Sweden!
